We collect only what we need to run our website and respond to genuine business enquiries:

• Information you give us. When you complete our assessment or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone number, company name, industry, and the operational details you choose to share (e.g. bottlenecks, tools, hours lost).
• Live agent demo inputs. Text you paste into our public agent demos is processed to generate a response and is not used to identify you.
• Usage & device data. Via privacy-friendly analytics (see below) we collect pages viewed, clicks, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and referring source.
• Social interactions. If you engage with our Instagram (@valfirst.ai) or Facebook (Valfirst AI) pages, those platforms share limited public interaction data with us under their terms.

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare your assessment, and schedule a call.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and agent demos.
• To understand which content and channels are useful (aggregate analytics).
• To publish our own marketing content to our own social media pages.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

We use PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics to understand site usage. These record events such as page views and clicks, and may set first-party cookies or local storage. Analytics inputs are masked so we do not capture the content you type. You can block cookies in your browser without losing core site functionality.

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, each bound to protect it:

• Hosting & analytics: Vercel (hosting) and PostHog (product analytics).
• Lead handling: our internal notification and record-keeping tools (e.g. Slack, Google Sheets) used solely to follow up on your enquiry.
• AI processing: demo inputs are processed by our AI model provider to generate a response; they are not used to train models on your identity.
• Social platforms: Meta Platforms (Instagram/Facebook) when we publish our own content.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

We keep enquiry and assessment data only as long as needed to serve you and for legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To do so, email info@valfirstai.com or follow our data deletion instructions. We will respond within a reasonable period.

We operate our own Instagram and Facebook business pages and use Meta’s APIs to publish our own content. We do not access other users’ private data through these platforms. Your use of Instagram and Facebook is also governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
